Mastercard launched its brand identity in mid-July. The new logo will be used both as the corporate mark, as well as on its products, cards, and retail environments. The new brand identity will begin its rollout this fall. With corporate headquarters in Purchase, New York, Mastercard claims it is “the world’s fastest payments processing network, connecting consumers, financial institutions, merchants, governments and businesses in more than 210 countries and territories.”

Subway, the sandwich chain, unveiled its updated logo at the beginning of August. It is slated to begin appearing in the restaurants and communications in “early 2017.” Subway, founded 50 years ago, has over 44,000 franchised locations in 112 countries around the world. Still family-owned, it is based in Milford, Connecticut.

Following the completion of the merger between Ahold and Delhaize Group, which was announced on June 24, 2015, the company launched its new name and brand identity. Now called Ahold Delhaize, the new symbol draws from both legacy logos for its inspiration. Ahold Delhaize claims to be one of the world’s largest food retailers with “22 strong, local brands (serving) more than 50 million customers each week in 11 countries. Together, these brands employ more than 375,000 associates in 6,500 grocery and specialty stores.” Ahold Delhaize’s head office is in Zaandam, the Netherlands.

Diebold Nixdorf is the world’s largest manufacturer of automated teller machines and other self-service transaction systems, supplying nearly 100 of the world’s leading financial institutions. The company has about 25,000 employees and has corporate offices in North Canton, Ohio and Paderborn, Germany.
